This dashboard provides an overview of the historical and near real-time availability of Galileo's High Accuracy Service (HAS) and Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA) for a user-defined location and timespan.
How to use it
- Set the user's latitude, longitude and elevation mask, choose a start epoch (UTC) and an end epoch, and the constellations to include, then click Update.
- Double-click on the map to set the location directly, or use Geolocate to fill in your browser's current position.
- Click Auto to continuously refresh the dashboard: End Epoch is automatically updated to the current epoch (with 2 min offset, to ensure data is available) and the data is refreshed every 30 seconds. Start Epoch shifts forward too, keeping the timespan capped at 30 minutes. While active, the form is locked; click the button again (now labelled Stop) to return to manual control.
What you'll see
The dashboard displays the HAS and OSNMA availability, only considering the information received within the specified timespan. It mimics the behavior of a real-time system that has been started at the selected Start Epoch, showing the status of each satellite at any given moment within the selected timespan considering the previously received information. Specifically:
- Availability statistics — statistics on the availability of HAS and OSNMA services within the specified timespan.
- Skyplot & Geomap — satellite positions, HAS/OSNMA status and elevation mask, with hover tooltips for details.
- Visibility counters — number of visible healthy satellites per constellation and capability.
- PDOP statistics — Position Dilution of Precision for different satellite subsets.
- Availability grids — per-satellite OSNMA and HAS status.
Hover over (or focus) the small "i" icons throughout the dashboard for detailed explanations of each metric.
Glossary:
- ADKD0 — Ephemeris, Clock & Status (needed to compute positioning)
- ADKD4 — Timing Parameters (only available for transmitting satellites)
- SiS Status — Signal in Space Status broadcast in the navigation message
- PDOP — Position Dilution of Precision (≤ 6 is nominal; 0 = fewer than 4 satellites)
